Submission Guidelines
We welcome original, professionally written articles from supply chain and logistics practitioners, consultants, researchers, and policymakers. Please review the guidelines below before submitting.
Who We Publish
GSC Insights publishes articles by supply chain professionals, logistics practitioners, consultants, academics, and policy experts. We are particularly interested in contributions from those with direct operational or strategic experience. You do not need to be an academic to publish with us.
What We Publish
We publish original articles that provide substantive insight to professionals in supply chain management and logistics. We welcome articles on procurement strategy, warehousing operations, last-mile logistics, trade policy, digital transformation, sustainability, risk management, global trade, and related subjects. We do not publish press releases, product reviews, or promotional content.
Length and Language
Articles should be between 800 and 2,500 words, excluding references. All submissions must be in English. We welcome submissions from non-native English speakers and provide editorial support where needed.
Submission is Free
There is no charge to submit an article for consideration. The publication fee applies only to accepted articles. You will not be charged at any point during the review process.
Format
Submit your manuscript as a Word document (.docx). Include your full name, professional title, and a brief author biography (max 100 words) at the top of the document. Use subheadings, and list all references at the end of the article.
Format & Style Requirements
Please prepare your submission in accordance with the following formatting guidelines to facilitate a smooth editorial process.
Document Format
Submit your article as a Microsoft Word document (.docx). PDF submissions cannot be accepted. Your document should include your full name, professional title, and a brief author biography (max 100 words) at the top of the document.
Structure
Articles should have a clear structure with a compelling opening, a well-developed body that advances a coherent argument, and a concise conclusion. Use subheadings to organise longer articles. Developed paragraphs are preferred over excessive lists.
Style and Tone
Write in a professional but accessible register. Avoid jargon where plain language serves equally well. Write in active voice where possible. First-person perspective is acceptable for experience-based articles.
Data, Evidence, and References
All factual claims and data points must be supported by a reference. Use a consistent referencing style — Harvard, APA, or a numbered footnote system are all acceptable. List references at the end of the article.
Declarations Required at Submission
Your submission must include: (1) a conflict-of-interest declaration; (2) an AI-use declaration; and (3) an originality declaration. These are required fields in the submission form below.
The Review Process
All submissions are reviewed by the Editor within 14 working days. You will receive a substantive response — acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or a rejection with specific editorial feedback. We do not send form rejections. If accepted, you will receive the full publication fee breakdown at that stage. No payment is required until acceptance.
